kids
i told my kids about going to mcdonald's last week for a hot fudge sundae...after teaching them about the particle movement in hot fudge and how it changes with an increase/decrease in temp. one kid suggested that everyone bring a dollar so i could go "pick up" a sundae for each of them, hehe. (i also told them what a great deal the sundae was for only 99 cents). kids are funny, aren't they? they also suggested taking a field trip to mcdonald's. another student told me her dad doesn't believe in eating sundaes (since they aren't healthy). i told her they provide you with dairy :) so later a kid asked me if we could have ice cream sundae's in class...and i told him it wouldn't go along with our school district's new health code. he replied "but they are a good source of dairy" (he overheard me earlier). LOL ^^

Hi Ona! Love the new blog and all the pictures. You are now linked on my blog as well:)
You can't get kids worked up like that! I think it's now your duty to personally deliver sundaes to each and every one of your students' homes.
Sundaes aren't healthy depending on what type and what you put on it. I mean does the eater get any exercise afterwards, and what happens if that kid's dad cannot handle dairy products, so he would not be the best person to be around after a cup of milk if ya know what I mean.
i was being sarcastic when i told the kids they were healthy because of the dairy =P my kids picked up on my sarcasm and went with the joke. we all know they aren't healthy...but the girl who told me her dad didn't believe in them, she was joking around. she has a really good sense of humor :)
