buck

i took oreo on a walk around the block this evening. we stopped at buck's home and i thought it was weird that he wasn't out. the owner was there and told me "buckey is no longer with us". we talked and i told him what a good dog buck was. the owner said "he wasn't a dog, he was like a person". poor thing, he was 14 years old and had a brain tumor :( we need to be nice to our dogs...rest in peace, buck. you were one of the friendliest dogs i knew~
