~an apple a day~

in social studies today, students learned about where the idiom "the real mcCoy" came from. later in the day, during independent reading, one of my students found a book at the back of my bookshelf titled "the real mcCoy". i didn't even know i had that book =O i was proud of my student for making connections!!! yay~

in my slow attempt to eat healthy, i now choose an apple for my "side" at panera. :) i was put to the test tonight, and did well! my unni showed me pictures from cancun. here are three reasons i want to go! who wants to go with?
