snail mail

one of my students moved to N.C. a couple weeks ago. today, i received a letter from her! she even used the stationary and stickers i gave her...it was a pleasant surprise :) i really like snail mail. i still write letters with a few of my friends. one lives in korea, another in LA, and the last in mississippi. i used to write consistently with more friends, but it only works if both people can keep up. i remember writing 15+ friends the summer after my frosh year at UofM. the art of letter writing has sadly been forgotten by many...partly due to the convenience of e-mail. props to people who still find the time to write letters!~

i don't think sundance should've been voted off of american idol. sunjaya definitely doesn't belong in the top 12 :(

speaking of students...this a former student i had last year. as fate would have it, we were able to meet up in tokyo this summer, half a year after he moved back! yay for reunions :)
